Three Sinara Group top managers win Person of the Year Prize

The awarding ceremony of the Delovoy Kvartal magazine’s Person of the Year Prize took place in Yekaterinburg recently. The Main Industrialist of the Year Prize went to Sinara Group’s Director-General Mikhail Khodorovsky. SKB-Bank’s Chairman of the Supervisory Board Vladimir Pukhov was declared the Banker of the Year, and Sinara Development’s Director-General Timur Ufimtsev was declared the Main Developer of the Year, Sinara Group’s PR Department reports.

Mikhail Khodorovsky said Yekaterinburg made a very impressive leap forward over the last few years, which was possible, among other factors, due to a number of business initiatives that create new impulses for the development of the city in particular and the Urals on the whole.

‘Sinara has focused on the fields that we feel are crucial to the innovational development of any territory. This let us learn a lot, see the new, large-scale horizons, and implement out-of-the-ordinary solutions. Sinara Group and its German partner set up a hi-tech new generation locomotive production; the company is also involved in the multi-faceted area development projects and has completed the construction of Ural Federal District’s largest sports facility, the Central Stadium. Finally, the Group comprises one of Russia’s largest regional banks that relies on international capital,’ Khodorovsky pointed out.

This is actually not the first time Sinara Group managers win the Delovoy Kvartal magazine’s prize. In 2010, Mikhail Khodorovsky won the main prize, the Person of the Year.
