Uzbekistan, Kuwait, China Prove Kurgan Region’s Top Foreign Trade Partners
Judging by the cargo manifests processed at the customs points, 196 legal entities dealt in foreign trade in the Kurgan Customs area in 2011. These companies submitted 3,900 cargo manifests explaining the types and specifications of the movement of goods that have to be accounted for in the customs foreign trade statistics.
The following countries proved Kurgan Region’s most active foreign trade partners in 2011: Uzbekistan imported and exported 20.1% of all the goods accounted for in the total goods turnover, followed by Kuwait, with it 19.4% share in the total goods turnover, China, with its 18%, Venezuela (7.3%), Hungary (6.3%), Kyrgyzstan (5.3%), Nicaragua (3%), Germany (3%), Turkmenistan (2.8%), and Egypt (2.6%).
