Four Chelyabinsk Region colleges enter the Russian top 100
Kommersant-Dengi magazine has recently published the Russian top 100 (in terms of job prospects) colleges. The rating is lead by Moscow colleges, namely, Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman, Moscow State University, Russian Federation Government Finance Academy.
Four Chelyabinsk Region colleges were on this list, with Magnitogorsk State Technical University getting the 39th place, Chelyabinsk State University of Agricultural Engineering getting the 82nd place, South Ural State University and Chelyabinsk State University somewhere between the 90th and 100th positions.
The rating was based on the survey carried out among 300 Russia’s largest companies, of whom 120 responded. The survey summed up the data available on 6,732 college graduates employed by these companies last year; what was important was the number of employers saying the particular college graduate would be especially welcome. It appears the specialists with degrees applicable in the field of industrial economy, particularly oil industry and machine-building, are in greatest demand.
