ChelyabEnergo gets ready for the upcoming floods and thunderstorms
ChelyabEnergo JSC is getting ready for the upcoming flood and thunderstorms, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
The company’s employees are examing the equipment, particularly transmission facilities and substations; the supports are being further fortified, new emergency power supply schemes have already been developed. The emergency and repairs staff are given additional training, and the 24-hour emergency service has been made available. The company ahs also issued the decree stating all the regulations for the troublesome period to ensure more safety.
The company has been keeping track of all of the regional thunderstorms for the last 60 years, with data filed and analyzed to increase the protection from overuse breakdown.
The energy specialists have begun the repairs program and the preparations for fall/winter 2006/2007 as well.
