CHTPZ-Meta CJSC assesses its achievements in the first three months of 2006
Throughout January to March, the company stored and processed 110,000 tons of ferrous scrap metal (an increase of 83% against 2005), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative. Eight new storing and processing facilities were introduced in Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, and Sverdlovsk Regions as well as in Tatarstan. The total capacity of these facilities is 105,000 tons.
Samaravtormet, Samara Region’s largest scrap metal processor, joined the enterprise in the beginning of the year, raising the total capacity of CHTPZ-Meta CJSC to 645,000 tons.
The corporate strategic development program provides for reaching the capacity of 1m tons in 2007 as the total investments in 2006 to 2008 will come to over $40m.
