In the first quarter of 2006, Koltsovo airport of Yekaterinburg rendered its services to 107,596 air travelers including 77,995 passengers on domestic flights, 9,088 passengers on the flights to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and 20,513 passengers on international flights. During the first quarter of 2006, 909 sorties of aircraft were made from Koltsovo airport including 708 domestic flights, 66 flights to the countries of the CIS, and 135 international flights.

According to the airport PR-department, within the first three months of 2006 the airport staff handled 1,228.9 tons of mail and goods including 861.4 tons of domestic flight aircargo, 23.6 tons of CIS flights aircargo and 343.9 tons of international flights aircargo.
