Former director of Yuzhniy Ural JSC prosecuted for arrears of wages
Following the investigations carried out on two employers (CEO of Yuryuzanskiy Machine-building Works M. Bukhvalov and former director of Yuzhniy Ural JSC A. Lebedev) in May, some indicting documents were sent to the public prosecution bodies in order to charge the possible offenders with violation of Clause 145 of Russian Criminal Code, the spokesperson for Chelyabinsk Labor Inspectorate said to UrBC representative.
This led to taking legal action against Mr Lebedev for arrears of wages. In the course of the second examination of Yuzhniy Ural JSC premises (run by G. Byvaltsev), there emerged the deplorable fact that the management never fulfilled the order of the state labor inspector to pay the employees for working extra hours. Mr Byvaltsev can now be prosecuted administratively (Clause 195 (Part 1) of Russian Administrative Infractions Code).
Since the beginning of the year, 8,541 employees have received the total of 53.97 million RUR following the orders of state labor inspectors.
This led to taking legal action against Mr Lebedev for arrears of wages. In the course of the second examination of Yuzhniy Ural JSC premises (run by G.
