On June 7, 2006, Ural Airlines AN-24 aircraft engine had problems during Nadym-Yekaterinburg flight. According to the company’s spokesperson, the pilot in command followed the flight operation instructions and decided to go back to the airport of departure. The landing was safe and smooth.

‘The passengers from the flight have been taken to the airport hotel and will be transferred to Yekaterinburg at 6.15 PM on June 8. We’ll use Tu-134 aircraft traveling from Nizhnevartovsk to Yekaterinburg,’ explained the spokesperson.

The company is currently gathering data for the investigation of the case.
