Evrazruda JSC (part of Evraz Group) announced the results of a corporate proficiency contest in the second quarter of 2006.

The best company’s underground winning subdivision is Abakansky branch, whose production output and labour productivity indices came to 101.7% and 103.6% of the target figures, respectively. The contest of open pits and processing plants was won by Abagursky branch, with its production output and labour productivity indices amounting to 101.53% and 106% of the target figures, respectively.

The ‘best among professionals’ honorary title was awarded to 22 shaftmen, timber-men, shotfirers, drilling rig and excavator operators and other company employees representing almost every subdivision of Evrazruda. The ‘best foreman/shift supervisor/section manager’ honorary title was awarded to 21 members of the company’s executive staff.

Teams of Abakansky and Abagursky branches and the winners of personal honorary titles were awarded with corporate certificates and cash bonuses. This was reported by PR-department of Evrazruda JSC.
