Lukoil-Nefteproduct Ltd. advertised for sale of some petroleum storage depots in Chelyabinsk Region, namely of those located in Kropachevsk, Miass, Yemanzhelinsk and of the filling station No. 19 located in the town of Kartaly.
‘The sale is a part of our business activityoptimization. We sell not-paying storage depots whose daily sales are less than 1 ton of oil products,’ said Vyacheslav Bolotnikov, the spokesperson for Chelyabinsk branch of Lukoil-Nefteproduct Ltd. to UrBC representative.
Vice-president of Vitatron-Medtronic visits Sverdlovsk Region
Jo W. Merkun, Vice-president of Dutch firm Vitatron-Medtronic, has visited Sverdlovsk Region. Eduard Rossel, Sverdlovsk Governor, suggested setting up a joint venture in Sverdlovsk Region to produce the full range of Vitatron products. In the course of negotiations, the parties made a decision to set up Vitatron-Ural joint venture based on production facilities of Ural Electro-Mechanical Works Federal State Unitary Enterprise.
The parties are going to form working teams to carry out the feasibility studies and to prepare the constituent documents. The specialists and scientific facilities of Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, are going to be enlisted in the project. The parties are going to settle all the technicalities by the beginning of 2007.
To date, over 60 Vitatron-Medtronic medical centers are located in Russia. Russians are implanted over 1,000 Vitatron cardiostimulators annually. Over 500 people in Sverdlovsk Region stand in need of cardiostimulator implantation. The information was reported by PR-department of Sverdlovsk Governor.
