A group of inspectors from the Losses Department of Sverdlovsk Region Communal Facilities JSC conducted five raids in the town of Kachkanar and revealed 15 instances of electricity theft that resulted in 60,000 RUR of collected debt, reports the company’s spokesperson.

The company recorded 7 instances of theft by natural persons and 8 instances of theft by legal entities last month. For example, Consul, the local shop, removed the official seal of the supplier on the meter, Fashion (another shop) and Rhodonite Ltd. had no functioning meters at all, the meter in a fruit kiosk had a broken glass screen, and the transformer in KBO, the municipal unitary enterprise, was switched off. The inspectors continuously record cases of illegal use of the network in Pervomayskaya St. of the village of Valerianovsk.
