Net profit of SibAcademBank comes to 966m RUR in January to August 2006

SibAcademBank JSC assessed the results of its activity in August. The bank has made 966m RUR of net profit since the beginning of the year, which exceeds the figures for eight months of 2005 by three times. Its net wealth rose by 7% and reached the point of 52,145m RUR on September 1, 2006; this figure increased by 2.8 times compared to a year earlier. The bank’s balance sheet total amounted to 69,562m RUR on September 1, 2006, which is 3.15 times better than last September. The bank’s equity capital comprised 7.816m RUR, which exceeds the figures for last September by 3.9 times, reports the spokesperson for SibAcademBank.

The volume of the retail loan portfolio went up by 6.2 times and the total volume of loans issued to businesses by 2.3 times compared to 2005. The bank’s total loan portfolio amounted to 40.65bn RUR, which is 3.4 times more than on September 1, 2006 (that is, one year earlier).

The natural person accounts were worth 14,563m RUR (1.7 times greater than in September 2005), and businesses’ accounts were worth 1,785m RUR (2.3 greater than in September 2005) as of September 1, 2006. The international organizations’ resources amounted to 19,239m.

The Bank has emitted the total of 592,000 cash cards, of which 13,000 cards were issued in August, by the first of September; 562,000 cards are the Golden Crown ones. The company installed 251 ATMs and 203 cash desks; the cards are accepted in 1,805 retail outlets.
