Subdivisions of IES-Multiutilities Ltd. located in 15 towns of Sverdlovsk Region receive certificates of power equipment readiness for winter service
Subdivisions of IES-Multiutilities Ltd, the heat energy supplier for 15 towns of Sverdlovsk Region, have received certificates of power equipment readiness for winter service. This event was reported by the company’s PR-department.
The inspection board consisting of Sverdlovsk Power Utilities JSC, Regional Heat Power Supplier Company Ltd, Rostekhnadzor and local administrations representatives checked the equipment survivability, its ability to carry extra load during the heat deficit period as well as the personnel awareness of the safety measures and its emergency operation skills. To date, all of the mentioned towns have been supplied with the heat power to the full extent of their demand.
The company’s heat power experts have singled out a few pending problems. One of the problems concerns Verkh-Neyvinsky settlement, where the owner-occupied dwellings receive no heat while the local heat networks remain unprepared for the heat deficit period and their operation can not be allowed. This situation was effected by the local heat supplier, who failed to receive the certificate of readiness, thus the equipment operation cannot be considered safe. No one is maintaining the inner heat networks of the settlement at the moment. The company is going to settle down the maintenance problems together with the local administration within the nearest future. Similar problems have arisen in respect of the owner-occupied dwellings located in Severouralsk.
A number of problems have sprung up from the company’s relationship with the local managing companies, since some of them failed to pay their energy carrier debts off to the due date. Emergencies concerning the start of the heat deficit period operation are treated by the company’s special repair crews operating round the clock. In general, the company’s subdivisions located in Sverdlovsk Region have successfully started the current heat deficit period well before the deadlines.
