Ore mining and processing enterprise of Kachkanar (Vanadium JSC, part of Evraz Group) has started installation of new equipment within the framework of ore pretreatment technology modernization process.

The company’s processing plant received equipment systems for secondary and fine crushing sections manufactured by Sandvik, four fine screen-sizing units made by Derrick, high-pressure separator for dry magnetic separation and hydrocyclone unit by Cavex-Warman.

The installation of the new equipment began on September 29, 2006. Balancing and commissioning of the equipment will be carried out in presence of the supplier firms’ representatives. The whole complex of the new equipment will be set into operation by the end of 2006, PR-department of Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise of Kachkanar reports.
