Izhorsk Works is going to hold an extraordinary general meeting on November 28, 2006. The maim item on the agenda is reelecting the Board of Directors.

United Machine Building Works (which Izhorsk Works is part of) decided to elect two representatives of Federal Atomic Power Agency Members of the Board of Izhorsk Works. This will be done within the framework of the joint venture project with AtomEnergoMash.

The reelection is also targeted at improving cooperation among all parties involved as well as at trying to obtain a state contract (according to the federal Nuclear Industry Development Program scheduled for 2007-2010 and possibly until 2015). In order to cope with the lack of contracts at Izhorsk Works, United Machine Building Works decided to do a pilot launch of the so-called universal billets with long production cycle for nuclear power stations.

The Board of Directors of Izhorsk Works approved of the following membership candidates: Deputy GD of United Machine Building Works Yuri Arkhipov, Chairman of ZiO Podolsk Viktor Danilenko, General Director of AtomEnergoMash Kirill Komarov, Deputy GD and Personnel Director of United Machine Building Works Yakov Kop, General Director of Izhorsk Works Evgeniy Pakermanov, General Director of United Machine Building Works Evgeniy Sergeev, Deputy GD and Financial Director of United Machine Building Works Sergey Filatov, First Deputy GD of United Machine Building Works Vladimir Shchedrov, and General Director of ForPost Management Vladimir Yurkov, reports the spokesperson for United Machine Building Works.
