Town council of Zlatoust believes Mechel Bank performs unauthorized reconstruction of dwellings
Chelyabinsk Region Court of Arbitration received a claim against the town council of Zlatoust laid by Mechel Bank Commercial Bank JSC at the end of September.
According to the spokesperson for the court, the bank owns two apartments in a building located in Zlatoust that it wanted to convert into non-residential premises. The town council refused to let the bank do so as the proprietors of the flats had had some re-planning done without any legal permission. The conversion of the apartments into non-residential premises was also not agreed upon by the dwellers.
Mechel Bank now claims that this refusal violates the rights of the proprietor. The local court did not satisfy their claims, so it now placed a complaint with Chelyabinsk Region Court of Arbitration. The date of the preliminary hearing has not been set yet.
