SKB-Bank’s consumer loan portfolio goes up 300% in ten months of 2006

According to the Bank of Russia, the Russian crediting organizations have issued 1,797,000,000,000 RUR worth of consumer loans by October 1, 2006, of which 85% are the ruble loans. This means that the ruble loans are currently six times more popular than the foreign currency ones.

According to the Central Bank of Russia, the most popular kinds of loans are the ruble ones given for a term of six months to 1 year (the number of such loans is three times greater than that of the loans given for a term of over 3 years).

Today, crediting is the most dynamically developing banking product. SKB-Bank’s consumer loan portfolio, for instance, has come to over 300% over the ten months of 2006. The bank has issued over 4.3bn RUR worth of loans, reports the press officer for SKB-Bank.
