‘The criminal suit of IrtyshHydroSpetsStroy (part of Noviy Grad, the developer) was placed with public prosecution bodies of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region,’ Deputy Public Prosecutor of Khanty-Mansiysk inter-district public prosecution body Rinat Muratov said to UrBC representative.

‘This case is the one of economic nature and requires a very thorough investigation that has to be carried out at the level of the Region,’ Mr Muratov said.

IrtyshHydroSpetsStroy (part of Noviy Grad) is accused of doing construction work without proper permissions and papers.

‘The violations mostly have to do with the lack of papers needed to do any construction work; the company, for example, has already started putting up its third building (that is, the socle is already there), yet they still have no design estimates. There was no building permission, either,’ Director of Federal Legislation Compliance Department of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region public prosecution body Larissa Artemieva said to UrBC representative.

IrtyshHydroSpetsStroy was run by Andrei Repeta, brother of the former GD of Noviy Grad Yuri Repeta. The corporate website also gives the name of IrtyshHydroSpetsStroy as one of their contractors.
