More people to fly to Israel with simplified visa procedures, claim Ural Airlines

The experts of Ural Airlines believe that more people are going to travel to Israel after this country’s Ministry of Interior made visa procedures much easier for the citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States. ‘The Yekaterinburg-Tel Aviv flight used to be a charter one and only available in the summer, yet this year it’s become regular; one can use this direct flight once in a fortnight on Wednesdays; the passengers will travel by A-320. This destination enjoys stable demand that is believed to have all the grounds for becoming even greater. The flight is mainly taken by people who have relatives in Israel, those going on religious pilgrimages and tourists attracted by the Dead Sea, the Red Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea resorts,’ the company’s Commercial Director Kirill Skuratov said to UrBC representative.

Israel’s Ministry of Interior simplified the visa procedures for the citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States who have relatives living in Israel. The Ministry’s Chief Ram Belinkov reported that the repatriation law makes it possible to issue long-term visas that will be valid for ten years. The new rules will apply to all the citizens of the former Soviet Union, except for emergencies.

Ural Airlines is the only carrier that performs flights from Yekaterinburg to Tel Aviv at present.
