Academic construction project appeals to British builders and consulting firms

The Academic construction project devoted to the future district in Yekaterinburg was presented to the executives of Britain’s largest building and consulting companies: Arup, Eversheds, Buschow Henley, PRP Architects, WYG International, Knight Frank, British Expertise, and White Young Green. All these enterprises are quite experienced in the fields of consulting, design, engineering, building, developing, and project management and have great knowledge of commercial estate, storehouses, and housing markets.

The meeting of the British experts with the management of the Academic project was made possible due to the support of the British Council in Yekaterinburg.

Renova Stroy Group, the project developer, has already been cooperating with a number of international companies, including some British ones (Knight Frank, to name just one). Project manager Stanislav Pridvizhkin says their company is learning from the experience of their British colleagues in terms of things like sustainable development, urban reformation and community-building, and housing.

The Academic construction project got the British entrepreneurs very interested, especially in what regarded environmental and transportation issues. David Howell of British Expertise said he hoped they could participate actively in the project implementation.
