Court of Arbitration to consider bankruptcy case of SverdlovEnergoSbyt on March 20, 2007
Sverdlovsk Region Court of Arbitration is going to consider the bankruptcy case of SverdlovEnergoSbyt on March 20, 2007, reports the spokesperson for Sverdlovsk Gas Company. The court proceedings began after Shabrovsk Electrical Networks Ltd. (an intermediary that was supposed to be paid for electricity transfer by SverdlovEnergoSbyt) laid their claim against the company.
‘The court will definitely find out how justified this claim is; however, the very fact of starting an insolvency case in respect of a very large company, the region’s guaranteeing supplier with 75 years of history makes one wonder just how reliable this company is. Consumers feel like they need to reconsider their choice of the supplier. The monopolistic position alone is not a good enough guarantee for either business partners or consumers,’ PR and Advertising Director of Sverdlovsk Gas Company Olga Litvinova said to UrBC.
