Ural Airlines to take part in 1st International Transport Forum and Russian Transport 2007 exhibition
A group of Ural Airlines’ employees are going to take part in the 1st International Transport Forum and Russian Transport 2007 exhibition. Both events have been organized and coordinated by the Ministry of Transport and are to be held in Sochi on May 31-June 3, 2007. The forum is expected to become an annual event and one of the most impressive arenas for public presentation of one’s successes and prospects.
According to Ural Airlines’ press officer, round about 600 people have applied so far, including a delegation from Italy’s Ministry of Transport, Transport Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, and Poland, Serbian Minster for Capital Investments, a delegation from Venezuela and a number of other foreign participants. As for the Ural carrier, it will be represented by a group of executives headed by General Director Sergey Skuratov, who was personally invited by Minister of Transport Igor Levitin. The forum participants are to attend a number of round table discussions, conferences, and meetings devoted to Russian transport system’s socio-economic and geopolitical importance to the country’s development; among other topics are ways and methods of reforming the system and enhancing its efficiency as well as Russia’s integration in the international air carriers’ community.
Ural Airlines started a re-branding campaign in October 2005, whereupon the carrier’s strategic goal was worded as making Ural Airlines a global company.
