22 employees of Bogoslovskiy Aluminum Plant get project management expert certificates

Twenty-two employees of Bogoslovskiy Aluminum Plant (part of United Company RUSAL) have successfully undergone all the testing procedures and got international certificates that prove their expertise in the field of project management, UC RUSAL’s local press officer Roman Lukichev said to UrBC.

‘Today, project management is one of the most important mechanisms at play in a market economy. All the experts of Bogoslovskiy Aluminum Plant, including our chief alumina and electrolysis production engineers, economists, and developers felt they really needed some additional training to be able to manage the plant’s investment projects more efficiently,’ he added.

The Russian Project Management Association organized a workshop on the first module of the course on Project Management for the plant’s employees, with all the attendants passing their exams and getting certificates that verified their professional development achievements. The certification committee praised the level of the workshop participants’ competence and said they felt the company’s policy on developing the business with the help pf project management was a very fruitful idea.

‘The level of expertise our workers were able to achieve was spoken of very highly by the certification committee; besides, it proves our employees’ skills and qualifications have won international recognition, which is bound to help us work on projects like construction of a cyclone unit,’ UC RUSAL’s Bogoslovskiy Aluminum Plant’s General Director Sibagatulla Aminov noted.
