'On February 21, 2008, the shareholders of Nizhniy Tagil Boiler and Radiator Unit Plant will start considering which candidate could be appointed the enterprise’s general director. Even the BOD members haven’t got all the personal data on these candidates yet, which is why it’s very surprising that the BOD member Boris Dyakonov claims he’s got evidence of one of the candidate’s (whose name is Pavel Vasilyev) incompetence,’ the plant’s Legal Issues Director Irina Sytnik says.

The BOD meeting on the upcoming elections of the company’s GD took place on February 15, 2008, whereupon some media quoted Mr. Dyakonov, who spoke in a rather unflattering way of one of the candidate’s business skills.

'As for the things done by some security agencies on February 14, 2008, the day before the meeting, one might suppose that Bank24.ru was behind their actions. Mr. Dyakonov phoned the plant’s Chairman at about 11 AM the next day, wondering whether the BOD members were too shocked to hold a meeting that night. It is therefore possible that the security agents reported to their customer as soon as they were trough with their business on our premises. Mr. Dyakonov being one of Bank24.ru’s top executives, the whole incident might mean that the bank could really have taken action against us,’ Ms Sytnik added.
