Experts from Moscow and provinces are equally skilled, Oleg Borisov says

‘Today’s technologies make it possible to collect data and manage a number of processes virtually anywhere on the globe, including Yekaterinburg. This is one of Russia’s largest cities, a major junction point as well as a logistics terminal with unique geographical position. A great many important Russian businesses’ head offices are based in Yekaterinburg,’ Oleg Borisov, the General Director of Europe-Asia, the information and consulting center, said to UrBC explaining why the company’s headquarters were located in Yekaterinburg.

‘Like in any other business, the thing that matters most is the people. Is there any point in setting up headquarters in Moscow while most of our experts come from provincial areas? Experts from Moscow and the provinces are equally skilled, notwithstanding the infrastructure expenses. Besides, I know it for a fact that there are no unused human resources in the field of economic security in Moscow,’ he added.

‘Yekaterinburg is situated very conveniently for decision-making within Russia, and our customers’ outgoings can be reduced significantly: they get good quality service that is not overpriced. Everyone is aware of the fact that these are the staff and their coordination that ensure great security, and our company has no problems with either of the two,’ Mr. Borisov noted.

‘I would just like to emphasize that Yekaterinburg is the place where the coordinating office is located, whereas the company as a whole is an interregional corporation with offices in Moscow and Volgograd. Offices in Saint Petersburg and a number of other Russian cities are coming soon, too,’ he said.
