Ural Airlines to use summer timetable between March 30, 2008 and October 31, 2008
Ural Airlines is to switch to its summer timetable on March 30, 2008 and use it through October 31, 2008. Experts from the airline’s Scheduling Department tried to provide plenty of flights to the most popular destinations, especially popular family holiday resorts. In addition, they did their best to make the time of departure for flights bound for the southern resorts as convenient as possible.
In terms of flights frequency, three flights a week will be operated to Mineralniye Vody now compared with only one flight a week in the winter time; flights to Krasnodar and Sochi will be offered twice a week and daily, respectively. Moreover, the carrier’s summer timetable provides for flights that are normally unavailable in winter: these are four flights a week to Simferopol and daily flights to Anapa. Then, some new domestic flights will be launched: Ural Airlines will operate Yekaterinburg-Blagoveshchensk, Yekaterinburg-Khabarovsk, and Sochi-Yekaterinburg-Norilsk flights now. Besides, more Irkutsk-Yekaterinburg flights will be available.
As for the flights bound for the cities of the CIS, the carrier is to launch the new Yekaterinburg-Alma-Ata, Yekaterinburg-Baku, and Yekaterinburg-Tbilisi flights.
As for the international flights, Ural Airlines is now going to offer flights to sixteen destinations altogether. This includes the traditional flights to Dubai, Prague, Munich, Tel-Aviv, and Düsseldorf and the new flights to Larnaca, Iraklion, and Saloniki. Unlike last year, tickets for Yekaterinburg-Burgas-Yekaterinburg and Yekaterinburg-Varna-Yekaterinburg flights are now freely available at the company’s booking offices. Apart from that, Ural Airlines is planning to introduce flights to Barcelona and Bangkok as well as one new flight for each for the following: Larnaca, Prague, Pula, Munich, and Tel-Aviv.
On top of that, Ural Airlines has recently launched some new flights to HaiNan, Southern China, and is about to start operating flights to Eastern Hawaii after the corresponding agreement has been made during negotiations with the HaiNan authorities. Finally, the carrier now offers its customers the only regular flight from Yekaterinburg to Italy, namely, to Milan.
Tickets are available at any booking office or via the company’s website www.uralairlines.com.
