Your Way to the Future: this is the name of one of Visa Gold’s designs created especially for Visa International by Mariomi. This design won the first prize in the course of the high fashion week in Moscow, while the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development got the exclusive right over the design in the spring of 2008.

‘Bearing in mind that the image has a big part to play in the way premium bank cards are perceived and that the image is closely connected with design, we thought of changing our cards’ appearance completely. Design is as important as additional services, so it must be stylish, it must serve as a symbol of our customer’s status, and it must make the customer stand out from the crowd and accentuate their uniqueness,’ says the bank’s Bank Card Technologies Director Yulia Vasina.

‘Your Way to the Future shows our customer-friendliness. The bank offers its partners the most advanced products, while the new design not only brings in some variety for our existing customers but also attracts some new ones. This card is both pleasant and convenient to use,’ Yulia Vasina notes.

These cards will be provided for one- or two-year periods and will cost 3,000 RUR and 4,500 RUR, respectively. The minimum amount of money one has to deposit comes to 30,000 RUR. The rest of the fees are charged in accordance with the bank’s tariff policies.

In addition, the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development is going to launch the so-called concierge service for its premium bank card holders in August 2008: the offer means a customer can be provided with any information they need virtually anywhere on the globe.
