MOTIV celebrates MOTIV GSM’s 6th anniversary
It was six years ago when MOTIV GSM network run by MOTIV Telecommunications Group was launched after some thorough testing and trials.
‘Every year since has brought our customers some new improvements like unique tariffs, services, and special offers,’ the spokesperson for the company said to an UrBC reporter.
The number of MOTIV’s mobile subscribers reached 1,491,515 on November 1, 2008, including 1,474,348 customers who use the company’s GSM network. The company’s client database rose by 15% in 2008 alone. The network now covers 557 cities and towns where 95% of Sverdlovsk Region’s dwellers live. As far as Yekaterinburg is concerned, over 40% of the city’s dwellers actually use MOTIV GSM.
‘Coming up with something new and interesting for New Year has already become a corporate custom. This November and December, all of the region’s people are surely in for some surprises. For one, the voice traffic services will soon be offered in the package format at wholesale prices. Then, we are planning on carrying out the Favorite Town campaign in some of the regional cities and settlements. Finally, we’ll keep on developing our EGPRS (EDGE) technology and offer some new, exciting products to the avid Internet surfers,’ MOTIV’s Commercial Director Konstantin Novoselov says.
MOTIV accepts bank card payments while ensuring all the data protection. The payment should come to anything between 10 RUR and 1,000 RUR a day.
