CzechTourism deals in organization of sightseeing tours around the Czech Republic for representatives of foreign and Czech in-coming travel companies and reporters.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Czech Republic’s Minister for Regional Development Rostislav Vondruška, Chair of Sverdlovsk Region Legislative Assembly’s House of Representatives Lyudmila Babushkina, Sverdlovsk Region’s Minister for Industry and Science Alexander Petrov, Mayor of Yekaterinburg Arkadiy Chernetskiy, and the Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Yekaterinburg Miroslav Rameš.
‘CzechTourism has been operating in Moscow for over ten years; now we’ve come to the capital of the Urals. Our agency is planning to expand the travel flow in Yekaterinburg,’ Rostislav Vondruška said.
’16,000 Czech visas were issued in Yekaterinburg last year, and 200 flights were operated from Yekaterinburg to the cities of the Czech Republic. One of CzechTourism’s main challenges is to try and develop not only international travel for the locals but also encourage foreigners to come to Russia,’ said Arkadiy Chernetskiy.
