On July 1, 2010, Sverdlovsk Region’s division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service is going to look in the case involving ZAO BNP Paribas Bank and OOO IncorMedia. The two companies are suspected of violating Article 18 of the Advertising Act, as they allegedly practiced sending out text messages with advertisements to mobile phone users without the subscribers’ consent, the FAS’s press officer told UrBC.

In fact, the FAS earlier found L’Etoile cosmetics chain store, Limerence shopping center, and OAO Bank24.ru guilty of the same offense.
