Yekaterinburg-based Koltsovo Airport is going to pay 35.7% less tax to Sverdlovsk Region’s budget this year. This drop covers for a 100% decrease in profit tax payments, Koltsovo Airport’s General Director Evgeniy Chudnovskiy announced at a regional recession-fighting committee’s meeting.

Chudnovskiy explained the lack of profit tax resulted from the fact that Aviaprad Airlines’ debt to the airport had been written off at the time.
