Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Anatoly Gredin visited the construction site of Yekaterinburg’s newest Academic district.

Now Academic is not only Russia’s but also Europe’s largest city development project to date.

Head of the regional Cabinet and General Director of ZAO Renova-StroyGroup Akademicheskoye Alexei Vorobyov tried to estimate how effectively the regional government’s provisions on the creation of engineering and social infrastructure in the new district are implemented and checked out the construction site of a new quarter. The region’s authorities feel fully prepared to keep on this state-private partnership with the company in order to make sure the project progresses stably.

Anatoly Gredin said he thought very highly of the speed and quality of the construction; he also observed that over 30% of all the housing put up in Yekaterinburg this year would actually get commissioned in Academic district.

The head of the regional government also fully supported the developers’ plans for 2011.
