Titanium Valley to get infrastructure in 2012
Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Misharin and Russia’s Deputy Economics Minister Oleg Savelyev signed an agreement on behalf of Russia’s Ministry for Economic Development and Sverdlovsk Region Government regarding the launch of Titanium Valley, a special economic zone in Verkhnyaya Salda; they also signed an action plan on the project implementation stages.
‘We are about to start designing a special economic zone, securing a land allotment for the project, and working on its infrastructure. These jobs are to be completed in 2012. We will also start signing our agreements with the valley’s residents at the same time,’ Alexander Misharin observed.
The Titanium Valley project is expected to attract at least fifteen enterprises as residents, with the total 20 billion RUR worth of investments flowing in.
