Mitsui delegates come to Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant

The representatives of the world-famous Japanese Mitsui Corporation arrived at Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (ChTPZ Group) on a business visit in order to look at the plant’s facilities and hold talks about the two parties’ prospective cooperation.

The Japanese delegates visited the company’s finishing center and Iron Ozone 32, a steel-smelting facility, as well as a few tube-rolling departments. The representatives of Japan’s oldest trading firm looked into the process of pipe manufacturing, from making ingots at Iron Ozone 32 to producing half-finished articles at the tube-rolling department to thermal treatment of a finished tube in the finishing center.

‘Learning about the potential of a company and a manufacturer is crucial to us, which is why we always try to visit the plants we cooperate with or are planning to cooperate with. I can say this enterprise is developing and advancing very rapidly. ChTPZ Group is a company with great potential, and I am positive our cooperation can be very productive,’ says the General Director of Mitsui Steel Pipe & Plate Overseas Division Yasuhiro Kojima.

This is actually not the first time Mitsui representatives have come to a ChTPZ plant. The company delegates actually visited Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant’s Vysota 239 department last year and this year.
