Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation raises cement machinery output in 2007

Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation managed to nearly triple its production output of cement machinery in 2007 compared to the year before. Uralmash’s key cement buyers are Mordovcement, Sebryakovcement, Eurocement Group, and Sibirskiy Cement, the company’s press officer said to UrBC.

This year, the corporation is planning to increase its cement machinery output even further through cooperating with foreign enterprises. In November 2007, the company signed a contract for the delivery of a furnace body with KHD Humboldt Engineering, one of the world’s leading engineers and suppliers of cement equipment.

'This market is growing and will keep growing thanks to the construction boom. Building is today’s most dynamically developing branch of industry, so cement works need to be upgraded, and their equipment needs to be replaced with some new and modern one. Works currently under construction will need new machinery, too, so Uralmash’s produce is bound to enjoy good demand for another ten or fifteen years at least,’ says the company’s Cement Machinery Sales Director Vyacheslav Sekachev.
