Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant to make more ceramic flux

10.10.2008. Ðàçìåñòèë: public
Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (part of ChTPZ Group) keeps working on a project that will allow the company to increase its ceramic flux output. The project provides for the construction of a new ceramic flux shop, the introduction of a wider range of flux-based products, and greater production output as well as improved quality. The project requires about ?18.8m altogether and is expected to be launched in the middle of 2009. All the machinery is to be supplied by a European manufacturer.

Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant has already introduced the first section of the ceramic flux production facility in 2004. The launch of the second line will mean the company can make over 14,000 tons of flux a year and thus fully meet the plant’s electric welding department’s needs. This will also signify the introduction of some new, powerful facilities for the production of large diameter pipes with enhanced durability.

So far, the plant has managed to go through with all the tenders and select the basic contractors.
