Volume of loans given by Bank24.ru to sole traders for up to 30 days plummets 100% in January-July 2008

Central Bank of Russia reports volume of loans given by Bank24.ru to sole traders for 181 days to 1 year despite overdraft plummeted by 40.37% (from 51.991 million RUR to 31 million RUR) in January-December 2007.

Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court is now considering the claim laid by Global Gaming Expo (GGE) against Bank24.ru, Kommersant reports. GGE insists on being paid 186 million RUR that the bank allegedly obtained through unjust enrichment. The plaintiff claims the defendant wrote off the sum off GGE’s accounts illegally, which made it impossible for the plaintiff to pay its customers (who gave their savings into GGE’s trust management).
