TMK Undergoes Quality Management System Audit

The corporate quality management system of Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) was recently re-certified for compliance with the international standard ISO 9001:2008. The audit was conducted by the British company Lloyd’s Register.

The checks involved all the Russian and foreign enterprises of the company as well as its trade representations and daughter enterprises. Among the corporate quality management system’s components subject to testing were the management’s responsibility, resource management, product development, improvements, and some others.

At the end of the auditing procedure, Lloyd’s Register representatives confirmed that TMK’s corporate quality management system meets the ISO 9001:2008 requirements and is efficient and capable of securing a stable production of high quality goods.

TMK Group’s certificate of ISO 9001:2008 compliance for the company’s corporate quality management system was renewed for three more years in the field of Design, Production, Sales, & Shipment of Steel Tubing, Including Premium Threaded Joints (with/without Coating), Drill Pipe Joints, & Steel Balloons (Including Fiberglass-Enhanced Ones for Compressed Gas); Production, Sales, & Shipment of Steel Ingots & Blanks; After-Sales Operation & Maintenance, Repairs, & Storage of Tubing Products.
