Ural Airlines assess their production success in six months of 2006

Ural Airlines JSC looked at the results of its activity in the six months of 2006, and, overall, these results are better than those obtained a year earlier. The passenger turnover, for example, has risen by 13% and came to 1,011,702,000 passenger/kilometers. In January to June 2006, the company have operated 97,666,000 tons/kilometers against 87,406,000 tons/kilometers in January to June 2005 (an increase of 12%).

Since the beginning of the year, the company has already serviced 405,045 people, which exceeds the figures for the first half of 2005 by 14%. 252,218 passengers used domestic flights (an increase of 17%), 27,220 people flew within the NIS (an increase of 9%), 41,810 people used regular international flights (an increase of 9%), and 83,794 people used international charter flights (an increase of 9%). 69.3% passenger seats have actually been used, which is 3.2% more than in the first half of 2005.

Ural Airlines have performed the total of 4,347 flights since the beginning of 2006, or 17% more than in the first half of 2005. These included 2,968 flights within Russia (an increase of 19%), 375 flights within the NIS (an increase of 16%), and 404 international charter flights (an increase of 25%).
