Vysokogorskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise (part of Evraz Group) summed up the results of its activity in August 2006. Almost all of the company’s departments did impressively well.

Magnetitovaya and Yuzhnaya mines were the best among the production shops: they exceeded the plan by 6% and 2%, respectively. Estyuninskaya mine and the open pit operated stably.

The enterprise managed to meet the increased demand of refractory goods producers for unusually fractioned dunite and hit the target figures for extraction and shipping of limestone. Vysokogorskiy also accomplished all of the advancing and drilling operations planned for August and was able to avoid quality defects in its produce. The shipments met the deadlines, particularly in terms of crushed rock (the shipment plan was exceeded by 15%). The railroad communication functioned reliably as well, reports the spokesperson for Vysokogorskiy.
