The reorganization of OGK-1 JSC (First Power Generating Company) was completed on October 2, 2006. As a result of the reorganization, the five joint-stock electric power stations integrated into First Generating Company became its branches. The first was State District Power Plant of Verkhny Tagil (it acquired the status of OGK-1 branch in the summer of 2005)

On October 2, 2006 Tyumen Regional Department of Russian Federal Tax Service registered the discontinuance of operating of the join-stock power stations due to reorganization resulting in affiliation to another business. The shares of the joint-stock companies affiliated to OGK-1 are to be converted to OGK-1 JSC shares on October 29, 2006.

The share of RAO UES of Russia in the newly reorganized OGK-1 amounts to 92.16%; the shares of minority holders come to 7.84%. When the First Generating Company report on the results of the additional share issues is registered, the company’s authorized capital will come to 44.5bn RUR approximately.
