Website of United Machine Building Works chosen as best in Corporate Media Leader 2006 contest
United Machine Building Works won the Corporate Media Leader 2006 contest as the owner of The Best Corporate Site 2006.
The competition took place in Moscow on October 26-27, 2006 as part of the 3d All-Russian corporate media forum (CorPress 2006). It was organized by the Russian Department of International Association of Business Communication (IABC) and supported by Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Guild of Corporate Media (part of Media Industry Association Committee)
Forty corporate media, including those of VneshTorgBank, SberBank, SUAL Holding, RAO UES of Russia, RUSAL, Russian Post, and MIRAx Group Corporation, competed for the title.
The website of United Machine Building Works is designed to appeal to different types of target audience: mass media, investors, shareholders, the company’s clients and partners as well as its employees. Around 600 people receive the corporate news updates in Russian, with another 200 reading the news in English. Besides, the number of those who check this site out increases by 15% to 20% annually. The company’s PR Director Elena Stakhneva said the website was constantly being improved. ‘Next year, we are planning to keep upgrading our website, making it even more informative and user-friendly,’ she noted.
The site is supported by the Ural Division of PR Department of United Machine Building Works.
