The Improvements Department of Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil (part of Evraz Group) looked at the results of its activity during the summer and fall 2006. Over six months, the employees of the department have surfaced 58,000 square meters of roads with asphaltic concrete pavement, renovated almost 3,000 square meters of sidewalks, and made some improvements in a few of the company’s remote shops. The bulk of the work was done it the oxygen-compressor shop, in the shaped casting shop, in No. 3 metallurgical equipment repair shop, and in the company’s central square, reports the spokesperson for Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil.
