Official delegation from the Republic of Hungary to visit Chelyabinsk Region on November 16-17, 2006

Official delegation from the Republic of Hungary is going to visit Chelyabinsk Region on November 16-17, 2006. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Russia Arpad Sekei heads the group. Among the delegates are the mayor of Debrecen, the deputy of the house Kosza Layosz, Envoy Extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary, head of Hungarian trade mission in Russia Pal Syuch and some others.

The Hungarian officials are going to meet acting Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Andrei Kosilov and Mayor of Chelyabinsk Mikhail Yurevitch as well as visit the South Ural State University.

A number of Hungarian business executives (representatives of about 15 companies from various fields and branches, including communal and housing facilities, agriculture, construction and investments, freight and passenger aviation, tourism, production and purification of drinking water) will take part in the Russian-Hungarian forum, some round table discussions and talks with the South Ural entrepreneurs.

The foreign trade turnover between Chelyabinsk Region and the Republic of Hungary has more than doubled in nine months of 2006, reports the press officer for Chelyabinsk Region Ministry of Economic Development.
