Most Ural stores aren’t prepared for using Unified State Automated Information System, Ministry of Trade, Provision, and Services says
«The Unified State Automated Information System is going to be updated on November 1, 2007. The problem is that the system is quite complicated, so a company, however experienced employees it may have, will not be able to master it in only two months it has been given», Sverdlovsk Region Minister of Trade, Provision, and Services Vera Solovieva says.
«The new system is bound to cause industrial stoppages, and this, in its turn, may lead to the shortage of strong drinks on the market and therefore to an increase in prices. Most Ural stores aren’t prepared to work under the new conditions. The most difficult and expensive thing they need to do is determine what selling number a bottle had. Some new equipment is also required», she notes.
«Another thing is that the system will be impossible to control at first, so there will be no supervision over the quality of products in retail stores».
