All smash hit concerts performed live, Intershow says

‘Sverdlovsk Region’s concert entertainment market is saturated with operators of all sorts, who have to compete with each other as well as with the performers’ Moscow agents and directors (who don’t feel they can rely on anyone to take care of their stars,’ Intershow’s press officer Yulia Filatova said to UrBC.

Ms Filatova reports fifteen to twenty concerts are held in Yekaterinburg weekly during the high seasons (that is, end of January to mid-May and September-December), so even a real enthusiast can’t possibly go to them all; besides, sometimes a few similar-style concerts are organized on the same day.

‘All this means we can get fewer visitors than we would like. There are, however, some artists who always get a full house, like actors from Moscow theaters, the Turetskiy Choir, Philip Kirkorov, Alla Pugachyova, and Dima Bilan; then, some niche performers like Prodigy will normally be sold out, too,’ she said.

Prices vary from 300 RUR to 7,000 RUR depending on the degree of a singer’s popularity and the current demand. The former is the price of a cheapest ticket for the concert of Korol I Shut, the latter is the price of a ticket for the concert of Comedy Club and Nasha Russia.

‘The price of a ticket greatly depends on whether the singer is going to use a phonogram. There are plenty of well-reputed performers who always go for live music; this is true of all the smash-hit concerts,’ Ms Filatova added.
