ChTPZ Group controls Yuganskneftegazgeofizika
ChTPZ Group won control over the key players on the geophysical services market of Khanty-Mansiyskiy Autonomous Region and Tomsk Region: Yuganskneftegazgeofizika and Tomskneftegazgeofizika.
The acquisition of two geophysical companies was part of the Group’s strategy targeted at fully meeting the demands of the O&G industry. Last year, the implementation of this strategy resulted in setting up Rimera, a special company that deals in offering exploration, oilfield construction, and pipeline design and construction services to the oil and gas businesses. Rimera is to unite ChTPZ’s maintenance assets such as pipeline parts manufacturers (SOT, MZMZ, MSA a.s — parts of ChTPZ Complex Pipe Systems), Alnas, the machine-building enterprise, and maintenance centers located in Almetievsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, Nyagan, Izhevsk, Usinsk, Nefteyugansk, Kogalym, Perm, and Buguruslan.
The enterprise also runs a number of representations in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. ChTPZ Complex Pipe Systems BOD Chairman Vladimir Khristenko was appointed Rimera’s General Director.
Says Vladimir Khristenko: ‘Our strategic goal is to turn into a unique supplier of multi-faceted maintenance solutions for both Russian and foreign oil and gas enterprises. Buying two companies that deal in geophysical research of well bores will allow Rimera to expand the range of drilling services it can offer its customers.’
