Demand for jewelry plunges
Yuveliry Urala, the jewelry business, report their sales have nosedived recently, which led to a 30% drop in net profit.
For one, the company’s net profit reached 4.9 million RUR in the first quarter of 2009 but only 3.42 million RUR in the second quarter of the year.
