Chelyabinsk subsidiary of VympelCom JSC to have new director
Svetlana Galileeva, former Commercial Director of Chelyabinsk subsidiary of VympelCom JSC, succeeded Konstantin Legu as the company’s new director.
In 1989, Ms Galileeva graduated from the Instrument-Making Industry Department of Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in System Analytics and Engineering. She went on to work as a computer programmer in a research institute and in a number of private enterprises. After she graduated from the Department of Linguistics of Chelyabinsk State University with a degree in ESL and Translation in 1996, Ms Galileeva was employed by Yuzhno-Uralskiy Sotoviy Telephone (South Ural Cellular Phone) JSC in the capacity of a marketing specialist and was later promoted to Marketing Director. In 2003, she found a position with VympelCom JSC as the Commercial Director of Chelyabinsk subsidiary. Ms Galileeva was succeeded by former Sales Network Manager Sergey Urmancheev.
