The workers of Yestyuninskaya mine of Vysokogorskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise extracted the 30-millionth ton of ore on December 19, 2006. The event was celebrated in the course of a meeting devoted to giving thanks and praise to the best miners.

Yestyuninskaya mine is the company’s most recent development. It is going to celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 29, 2006. Over 40 miners will be given honorary certificates and letters of thanks. Yestyuninskaya is the mine with the greatest potential at the moment, developing three floors and getting ready to launch the second line of the -240 meter floor. The workers have already developed 300 meters of the mine floors, built permanent tramways, and ensured rib control using cast-in-place concrete.
